Revamping of Printing Machines and a Banknote Finishing Line

In 2020, against an order from JSC Goznak, BIS LLC completed its first-ever joint modernization of two printing machines. Modernization of the Super Orlof Intaglio machine with a slip-sheet feeder and the Super Numerota 212 numbering machine comprised the replacement of all control systems, sensors, and electric motors.

For the numbering machine, BIS LLC additionally developed and installed an optical inspection system for number printing quality.

Another project completed for the Moscow Printing Factory was modernization of the CutPak II Banknote Finishing Line. This project comprised the replacement and adjustment of both the control system and all sensors and electric motors of the machine; the installation of a hydraulic aggregate and hydraulic cylinders for exact positioning (+/- 0,25 mm); the implementation of energy efficient hydraulic aggregate control and active pressure stabilization in the course of the aggregate's operation.
